The short version: Zentile stores everything on your device. We collect zero personal data, zero analytics, zero cookies. Your hubs, stacks, and tiles never leave your browser.

What data we collect

None. Zentile does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to any server. There is no account system, no login, no tracking.

Where your data lives

All Zentile data — your hubs, stacks, tiles, notes, settings, and profile — is stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is never transmitted to FusionLoop or any third party
Is not backed up automatically — use Export to create backups
Will be lost if you clear your browser's site data

Third-party services

Zentile uses the DuckDuckGo Favicon API to automatically load website icons for your tiles. This is a simple image request (e.g., icons.duckduckgo.com/ip3/github.com.ico). No personal data is sent in these requests.

No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in Zentile.

Cookies

Zentile uses no cookies.

Analytics

Zentile currently uses no analytics. If analytics are introduced in a future version (e.g., for Zentile Cloud), they will be opt-in only and clearly disclosed.

Your rights

Export your data: Use the Export button in the app to download your hubs as a .hub file at any time.
Delete your data: Clear your browser's site data for the Zentile domain, or use your browser's developer tools to remove zentile_v1 from localStorage.
Data portability: Your exported .hub files are plain JSON — readable by any text editor.

Children's privacy

Since Zentile collects no personal data, it can be used by anyone. We have no way to identify the age of users.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect you.
